What, you thought we could go a week without reminding you of our rapidly approaching concert next Thursday evening at the Black Cat backstage? Hah! That’s funny. Nope, here we are, telling you again: Unbuckled, featuring great local bands Cartel and Bicycle Thieves, will be June 30 at 9 p.m., and it’s guaranteed to be loads of fun. There’ll be live music, DCist staff running all over, and now, prizes!
At the concert we’ll be giving away pairs of tickets to a bunch of upcoming shows:
- Tegan & Sara at the 9:30 Club, July 18
- Teenage Fanclub at the 9:30 Club, July 20
- Thievery Corporation at the 9:30 Club, July 28
Additionally, we’ll have DCist t-shirts (styled after those of Gothamist), CDs, and a few other goodies. The prizes will be given away during the show; be sure to get there early for your chance to win. And if you’ve got any questions, don’t hesitate to send us an e-mail.
