We’ve been to The Guards. We know how the people of D.C. feel about Bon Jovi. The hard-working, hair-grooming boys from New Jersey are currently on a world tour promoting their latest album, Have A Nice Day. On December 17, they’ll make a stop at the MCI Center, and are sure to feed fans’ thirst for classics like “Livin on a Prayer” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Tickets went on sale this weekend.
But wait, there’s more! We here at DCist have gotten our hot little hands on a pair of tickets to the show, and being that we always put our readers first, we thought we’d give them to you. But we’re making you work for it. Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
1. Print out the DCist logo.
2. Photograph it somewhere in the city.
3. Send your name and submission to us by October 24.
One lucky winner will be picked for his or her creativity and cleverness, as arbitrarily decided on by the editors here at DCist. Democracy in action! Now, get out there kids. There’s a seriously man–pretty band waiting for you to rock.
UPDATE: Click here for a bigger DCist logo for your printing and picture taking pleasure.
As for the geographical constraints, as long as you can come up with something creative, we’re all for it. It’s been a while since our logo visited the ‘burbs.
