D.C. Haters Wanted: Do you secretly harbor hatred for the District and its environs? Are you a Northern Virginian just waiting to vent your rage against the District and its high-minded, holier-than-thou residents? If so, there may be a job opening for you. James, the man behind why.i.hate.dc., has finally found his way out of months of unemployment — he’s moving to Seattle. His exit will leave a gaping hole in the District-hating blogosphere, so he’s looking to anoint a successor to carry the torch for years to come. If you can spew anti-D.C. venom as well as he could, you might be an essay away from talking over his blog. Might James start why.i.hate.seattle next?

D.C. Blogs Simplifies the Blog-Going Experience: Our friends over at D.C. Blogs have decided to make all of our blog-going experiences much, much simpler. They have launched DC Blogs Live, a page on which an automated feed tracks new posts on 75 D.C. blogs. Think of it as one big RSS feed. They’re looking to expand the number of blogs participating, but even now it proves a much simpler way of seeing what is being said in the Washington area blogosphere. There are still some kinks to be worked out, but this remains a powerful tool for any avid blog surfer (which, admittedly, we all are).
