While the Post finds winter precipitation strange and frightening, the rest of us are able to appreciate the ability of the white stuff (snow) to beautify and cutify damn near anything it touches. And when it’s falling on a 33 pound panda cub, well, it’s enough to warm our hearts and make us feel good about the world, right up to the point where Cheney shoots someone and we get wind of what Stick’s crazy handlers down at the zoo are calling him these days. According to NBC4 (and the National Zoo’s website) the panda staff has taken to calling him “little toad,” “little monster,” “wild man,” and “rotten child.” Little toad? What, like George Deutsch?
