In less than two months, the giant pandas at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo will return to China. And with them goes one of the region’s biggest tourist draws.
Sheep from eco-friendly, Fairfax-based Lamb Mowers got their fill yesterday at the Grow Community Garden on George Washington University’s campus.
The shelter has run out of space for dogs, and is looking for people willing to consider adoption for more than 100 animals.
“It just felt like in that moment that, [for] this creature, it shouldn’t have to be this hard,” says one of the Good Samaritans.
