Blogger beware! Thought things were going well for Jessica Cutler? Not exactly. According to reports in today’s Washington Post and on CNN.com, Robert Steinbuch, former beau and co-worker of the Washingtonienne, is seeking unspecified compensation and punitive damages in a lawsuit. For those living in a rabbit hole for the past two years, the two worked together in Senator Mike DeWine’s (R-Ohio) office.

Cutler catalogued her sexcapades with “RS” on her blog back in 2004. After the public sensation she was fired from her staffer position. But wasn’t that punishment enough? Apparently not, because more than a year after the fiasco, Steinbuch filed a lawsuit against Cutler.

Steinbuch’s suit states:

Cutler’s outrageous actions, setting before anyone in the world with access to the Internet, intimate and private facts regarding plaintiff, constituted a gross invasion of his privacy, subjecting him to humiliation and anguish.

Who would have thought any names would have been uncovered, especially with such a clever veiling like initials?! Steinbuch must have been sweating the day he read HBO picked up a sitcom based on Cutler’s infamous blog and subsequent novel. With this pending lawsuit, the sitcom will write itself. Don’t worry Jessica, Sarah Jessica Parker thanks you.
