So by now you’ve probably seen this year’s HFStival line-up and either you weren’t very impressed, or you have some serious decisions to make. Mr. West or Mr. Jones? Are you “Insane in the Membrane” or “Hands Down” ready for a band that epitomizes emo. You’re a big fan of unnecessary punctuation usage and have heard Panic! At the Disco are the new Killers, but no Brandon Flowers wanna-be can stir up a DAR crowd like Julian Casablancas.

The good news is now you can get a reduced two-day pass to put an end to this internal struggle. And yet there is still one more uncertainty left in your hands.

HFS has chosen 5 finalists from the multitude of bands who submitted CDs for a chance to win their Big Break 2006 competition and the opportunity to open the main stage at this year’s HFStival at Merriweather Pavillion. We are proud to mention that among the finalists is one of our very own Three Stars Alumni, The Hint. If you want to help them along, or just can’t get enough of this whole American Idol induced voting phenomenon, head on over to the Recher Theatre next Thursday May 18th. In this final round battle, you can check out The Hint and the other finalists (The Sikes, All Time Low, The Heavycoats, and Jack’s House) in a FREE live performance before selecting your favorites to take the stage on May 27th.
