Talk about your under the radar openings. The National Garden had its official ribbon cutting ceremony last weekend, but for some reason the people of said “nation” weren’t good enough for an invite, limited only to donors and dignitaries. I was hoping to swing by the Mall tomorrow to check out the roses and take in a free Jazz concert, but it looks like I’ll have to bring some wellies and a strong umbrella.
