If you’re a D.C. voter like me, you might have left the booth today feeling a little … powerless. Maybe you want to do something more direct to help your community than just voting for a guy who’s virtually claimed the job already (not that you shouldn’t go vote!). Flickr user DottieboBottie did, in a couple ways. After she took this very simple but poignant shot on H and 13th Streets to share with others, she called the Hypothermia Hotline at 1-800-535-7252 to make sure someone checks on these folks as winter comes barreling upon the city, and hopes that she can convince others to do the same.
