Talk about your great fall pictures. Aren’t you tempted to rake them all up and do a big flop into them? The bright colors, perfectly spaced leaves, and depth of field were captured just right by Flickr user Urban Fantasy outside the Library of Congress. And as Flickr users are wont to say, this is best viewed large.
On another note, we’d like to give another pat on the back to Flickr user Eye Captain, whose photo we featured here on Monday. Yesterday we were contacted by the folks at Metropolis, who own the 14th Street NW space and have sponsored the installations there, because they were so impressed with Eye Captain’s photo they wanted to use it to promote the exhibit. Well done, Captain! We’re thrilled to see the deep talent of our contributing photographers being tapped. If you’d like to add your own images to our pool, just tag your Flickr photo “dcist.”
