>> Did you watch About A Boy and think, “gee, I sure am enjoying the music, as well as Hugh Grant’s foppish charm”? If so, you’re in luck, because the man behind that soundtrack and a lot of other grade-A shoegaze, Badly Drawn Boy, is coming to the 9:30. $25.
>> If you’re into music that’s infectious and slightly unsettling, with a dose of psychadelia on the side, then look no further than Clinic, who are at the Black Cat with Holy Fuck. Clinic hasn’t graced the District with their surgical-mask-clad presence since 2004, so it’s not to be missed. $13, 8 p.m.
