I stopped to take a few photos of these kids playing basketball at a park in Adams Morgan. They spotted me after a few minutes and motioned me over. “Take our pictures!” I stuck around and shot photos of them shooting layups and fooling around. After over a hundred photos, they crowded around me and we looked at the all the shots–playing them back quickly, like a mini movie. Without a word, they assembled into a final group pose, and gave me their email addresses. “Send us the pictures!”
