Monday
>> It’s been a few years since Strange and Beautiful brought English singer/songwriter Aqualung into the spotlight with his radio friendly sensitivity, but now he’s back touring to promote his latest release, Memory Man. He’ll be headlining the 9:30 Club with opener Sara Bareilles. $20.
>> Three Stars favorites The Deleted Scenes will be out at the Warehouse Next Door tonight as part of a four band line-up including Pash, The Love Story, and A very Sarah McLaughlin-esque She Keeps Bees who’s self produced album holds a very promising sound. 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday
>> Ratatat doesn’t need lyrics to tell a story. Their electronic beats speak for themselves. The New York duo will be at pumping out addictive tracks from their latest Classics and possibly a few of their yet-to-be-released remixes at the 9:30 club on Tuesday with Despot and Hexa. $15, 10 p.m. doors.
Wednesday
>> Apparitions frontman Mark Charles Heidinger has a new name and a debut solo album, Grace & Speed from the DC based Gypsy Eyes Records. You can check out his softer more acoustic persona, Vandaveer, at The Rock & Roll Hotel tonight with Jennifer O’Connor and Oranges Band. $10, 8 p.m.
>> The New York based experimental indie rock sensation TV on the Radio won over the critics in 2006 appearing on the cover of Spin magazine for album of the year with Return to Cookie Mountain and their hit single “Wolf Like Me.” They’ll be playing a SOLD OUT show on Wednesday at the 9:30 Club with the Noisettes, so if you want tickets you still have a few days to hunt them down. They added a Thursday show too, but much like Wednesday, it’s also sold out.
