The man whose rampant flagging (or pantsing, depending on who you ask) attempts around the Vienna metro stop last fall had women buckling their belts a little tighter appears to be back at it, though this time around he’s gotten more aggressive. According to NBC4,

Police said a man tackled the 50-year-old woman about 10:30 p.m. as she walked along a footpath near the 9500 block of Lagersfield Circle.

According to police the man grabbed the woman, kissed her and pushed her to the ground before fleeing as the woman screamed for help, police said. The woman was not injured.

Investigators told News4 they believe the woman’s attacker may be the same man who has pulled down women’s pants and exposed himself to other victims.

Like the previous attacks, which were also centered around Metro stops, Laggersfield Circle is in a residential neighborhood very near the Vienna Metro station. Aside from the occasional espionage incident turned motion picture, Vienna is more accustomed to ferris wheels and funnel cake than it is to criminal activity. While we’re constant proponents of mass transportation and pedestrian traffic, we urge the patrons of the Orange line to take extra care and pay attention to their surroundings until this bozo is finally apprehended.
