Another adorable baby animal at the National Zoo, another list of potential names for us to vote on. As you already know, the Zoo welcomed a brand new baby Giant Anteater last month, and nicknames for the little creature have already abounded — Little Schnozzy being by far the most popular. But theoretically, Schnozzy won’t be “little” forever, and the Zoo would like your input on selecting a proper name.

The names this time around aren’t really so bad — most of them being Hispanic first names, the list reads like a Spanish 2 textbook exercise — and since it’s apparently so difficult to determine Schnozzy’s gender, you get to choose one name for a boy and one name for a girl, with the winning name being announced some time at the end of the month after the baby’s first physical exam. The choices? Pilar, Isabel, or Aurora for a girl, and Cyrano, Francisco or Ferdinand for a boy. Ha ha. Get it? Cyrano?

Which names do you prefer? Go vote here. Voting ends Aug. 26.
