>> The Lisner Auditorium is hosting Malian traditional guitarist Vieux Farka Toure (son of the late great Ali Farka Toure) and Tinariwen, a band of musicians from the Sahara who meld North Malian guitar stylings with blues, middle–eastern, reggae and rock influences. 8 p.m., $15-$45.

>> Ursula Hegi will be at Politics and Prose to read from her newest novel, The Worst Thing I’ve Done, which chronicles love and friendship among a trio of young people on Long Island. 7 p.m.

>> Die hard Dude fans take note: The Arlington Cinema and Draft House is hosting another Dude Fest tonight, with a live accoustic performance by Dave Jordan covering multiple songs from The Big Lebowski soundtrack prior to a screening of the film itself. 8 p.m., $8. It’s looking to be sold-out but if you’re dying to get in we’d suggest heading over to see if any last-minute seats become available.
