Montgomery County police are investigating after finding the body an unidentified woman, who appears to be in her 60s, inside a home just outside the Capital Beltway this morning. Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 8900 block of Seven Locks Road, and when they arrived, found the dead woman inside.
This is the same general area where a string of home invasions attacking elderly residents occurred late last year and earlier this year.
The Post takes the time to note that the neighborhood where the home was located is somewhat in question: some people lump it in with Bethesda, while others align it to the east, and put it in Potomac. NBC4, which took the time to get a helicopter view of the rather large house, is going with Bethesda.
