
Last month we got excited that the D.C. Council’s famously 1997-era web site was finally being redesigned, and today we noticed that the new site is now live. Compare what it looks like now to what it looked like before. Much better, right?
As far as functionality goes, we’re still digging through it, but the calendar feature will surely come in handy, and the ability to see a list of upcoming hearings by committee and download proposed legislation is even nicer. A few sections, like the page where you should be able to find press releases, are still under construction, but hopefully it’ll all get filled out soon enough.
