This has been everywhere already, but we’re still giggling over the story of how Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) hung up on President-Elect Barack Obama because she thought he was a prank caller. And then issued a press release about it, in which her office misspelled both Obama’s first name and the last name of Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel. Given how many media and communications professionals are being laid off around town these days, seems like any remotely competent Washington PR person looking for work ought to strike while the iron is hot here.
