City Paper’s Mike DeBonis reports from today’s University of the District of Columbia board of trustees meeting that the school’s controversial tuition hike has been approved, by a vote of 13-3. The approval will allow the four-year university to increase tuition for District residents from $3,800 to $5,400 in the fall, and then to $7,100 the following year.
