- Wonkette says that Rep. Eric Cantor went to the Britney Spears concert last night, and compared it to President Obama’s attendance at a Wizards game. Err, they are both irredeemably bad this year?
- The Washington Blade has emails that claim D.C. Council member David Catania will at last introduce a same-sex marriage bill sometime early next month. For his part, Catania hasn’t named a specific date when he’ll introduce the bill since it got derailed in January.
- A Metro station manager was shot and killed about a block from his Northeast D.C. home early this morning, about a half-hour after he got off work, the AP reports via WJLA.
- Montgomery County residents today protested a plan to cut Ride On bus service, reports the Examiner.
- President Obama made an unscheduled stop at Arlington National Cemetery today to pay respects to recipients of the Medal of Honor.
