Two people were shot in Southeast D.C. overnight in separate incidents, and a third person was shot in Northeast this morning. The Post has a short report up on its web site including both of last night’s shootings. The first occurred at about 8:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Howard Road SE, where police found a 19-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and groin. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Then about 45 minutes later, police responded to a call in the 3000 block of 30th Street SE, where they found a man who had been fatally shot in the head.

The third shooting happened this morning, just before 9 a.m., near 14th Street and Maryland Avenue NE. The victim in this case was a woman, who died on the way to the hospital. FOX 5 has the story.

None of the victims identities have been made public yet.
