Photo by Meaghan GayWe’re unabashed fans of Girls Rock! DC, the one-week day camp for girls age 8-18 (check out some of our previous coverage). The camp is now entering its second year, and they’ve asked us for help locating volunteers. Girls Rock! DC is seeking volunteers of all kinds to be counselors, band coaches, fundraisers, roadies and more. No musical experience is necessary, and volunteers can work during camp week (Aug. 10-15) or behind the scenes before camp. Volunteer applications are due this Monday, May 4, so download an application and contact the camp with any questions you might have.
