It’s been a big week, with lots of crazy stories and tragic ones. No matter what you think about him, Michael Jackson is seemingly on everyone’s mind.

Overheard of the Week

Last night outside Nats Park before the Nats/Sox game:

People keep crossing the street despite the crossing guard telling them not to and the guards were getting testy.

Guard (yelling to crowd): “Ladies and Gentlemen, please ONLY cross when I indicate it is safe!”
Guy crossing street and talking to his friend: “That is severely messed up…”
Guard: “Sir, this is for your safety! It is in no way messed up!”
Guy: “Oh, I was talking about Michael Jackson…”
