>> Japanese pianist Hiromi Uehara burst onto the scene earlier this decade and has garnered world wide recognition for her emotional and energetic playing. In addition to releasing several albums as a leader, she has played with greats such as bassists Stanley Clarke and pianist Chick Corea.
