The folks at NextBus have just released an application for the BlackBerry, available for $2.99 at this link. It appears to work somewhat similarly to the iPhone version, which we reviewed earlier this year. BlackBerry users, be sure to let us know how it works for you.
In other mobile real time bus arrival application news, Greater Greater Washington has a review of a new Circulator iPhone app, created by developer Yaogang Lian using OCTO’s open data feed. That app costs $0.99, and attempts to improve upon the official Circulator app by offering bus arrival estimates and showing the physical location of Circulator buses on a GPS-enabled map.
