Commutes in D.C. can be unusual times. You might see preachers, or musicians, people with no pants, or teabaggers on your train. A stuffed polar bear might close your station. But as used to we are to seeing odd things on our public transit system, some things can still surprise us.

Overheard of the Week

At Gallery-Place/Chinatown during the morning rush hour:

Man riding down escalator comes to a dead stop at the bottom (the busy one where everyone rushes up/down to transfer): “Excuse me! Excuse me, everyone! Has anybody seen Miley Cyrus?”
