The Chef is bringing his “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…Pt. II” Tour to the 9:30 Club along with Capone-n-Noreaga, Queen YoNasDa and Likeblood. $25, 7 p.m.

>> “Soul Overdose” is back with special a special guest. Joining N’digo Rose and DJ Jahsonic will be joined by the ELs and current Grammy nominee, Phonte of The Foreign Exchange and Little Brother. Liv will be the venue. $10 in advance, 9 p.m.

>> From the people who bring you the “Afrobeat for Your Soul” parties is the “Eat Your Vegetables” holiday party at the Durkl store (443 I St. NW). As usual, DJ Underdog will be responsible for the tunes while awareness is raised about the Life Pieces to Masterpieces organization. Free but donations are encouraged, 7 p.m.
