Whoops. A Twitter user spotted this today: the D.C. flag flying outside 1399 New York Avenue NW, the Executive Tower building, is upside down. Now maybe someone in the building is somehow in peril, since an upside down flag is a sign of distress, but calling 911 seems like it would be a faster option. Or maybe a building tenant, like Bloomberg’s D.C. bureau, is making a joke about the state of journalism.
That, or somebody just doesn’t know what the D.C. flag is supposed to look like.
