Dulles International Airport showed off its brand new AeroTrain people mover system this morning, and WTOP was kind enough to upload some video of the system to YouTube so we could all check it out (see below). The AeroTrain launches its first full day serving the public on Tuesday, approximately $1.5 billion and nearly a decade after the Dulles expansion project originally began. The opening of the AeroTrain was also pushed back several months due to testing delays.
The AeroTrain will shuttle passengers between the Main Terminal building and Concourses A, B and C. Those of you who love the old-school mobile lounges will still be to ride them for some time to come, just as long as you use Terminal D.
