Many events were delayed or canceled last week, so this week finds the arts community still playing catch up. Along with many regularly scheduled openings on top of the rescheduled events, this agenda is chock full of shows and performances for your viewing pleasure.

>> If you can’t get enough of that Olympic fever, Civilian Art Projects presents photographer Gesche Würfel’s depiction of the transformation of London’s landscape in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games. Go for Gold! opens Friday with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m.

>> Flashpoint Gallery opens Alma Mater on Friday, with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit features photography by Jennifer Dorsey of the interiors of two area high schools taken over the course of two summers. The result reveals the beauty of the mundane.

>> On Saturday, The Hamiltonian opens a show featuring Alex Kondner, Ian MacLean Davis, Linda Hesh and Bryan Rojsuontikul. See their interpretation of repetition, pop culture and customs. Opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m.

>> Titouan Lamazou traveled the world documenting over 200 women. At the Adamson Gallery see a selection of photographs from Lamazou’s project as large-scale digital prints as they express the commonalities and differences of experience around the globe. Women opens Saturday with a reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

>> At Curator’s Office, DRAG: Jason Horowitz presents a collection of large-scale and extreme close-up photographs of expressive drag queens. Opening reception is Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
