- UPDATE: Mark Segraves now reports via Twitter that there *will* be a special session on Barry tomorrow. Stay tuned! … Will the D.C. Council take up a measure to begin proceedings to censure Marion Barry on Tuesday? It’s not on tomorrow’s agenda, but it could be added in a late emergency session. Chairman Vincent Gray told reporters this morning, however, that action on Barry might be delayed, as WTOP reports.
- The Sexist reports that Catholic Charities has figured out a way to avoid providing same-sex marriage benefits to its employees — by canceling spousal benefits for all future and currently unwed employees. From the memo: “We sincerely regret that we have to make this change, but it is necessary to allow Catholic Charities to continue to provide essential services to the clients we serve in partnership with the District of Columbia while remaining consistent with the tenets of our religious faith.”
- The three defendants in the Robert Wone conspiracy case have each petitioned to be tried separately, via WaPo. A hearing has been scheduled March 12.

Such a statement on Marion Barry’s actions still has not been released by the Ward 8 Democrats at this time.’
