A 46-year-old delivery man was stabbed Saturday night in the eastern part of Capitol Hill, WJLA reports. The incident took place in the 200 block of 15th Street SE, several blocks from the Stadium-Armory Metro station.
The victim was on the job, delivering food for Gourmet Express at 13th and Pennsylvania SE, when he was attacked by two unknown assailants. Police records show someone called for a delivery at 213 15th Street SE, but when the driver arrived, two men stabbed and robbed him. The suspects fled, and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. He’s expected to survive.
