Photo by d’namurWMATA has announced service changes on a number of Metrobus routes in D.C., Maryland and Virginia that will begin Sunday, March 28.
In D.C., several bus lines are being temporarily rerouted due to construction of the new Constitution Center at 7th and D Streets SW. Routes 5A (the Dulles Airport line), 52, 54, 70, 71, A9, V5, V7, V8, and V9 will be affected by these minor changes. For more details on changes to a specific route, read more here. These lines will resume their regular routing at a later date. Scheduled trip times and running times will not change.
In Maryland, the C2, Q2 and R4 routes have had their weekend routes altered slightly. And in Virginia, the 7A, 16A, 16B, 16E, 21A, 25A, 25B, and 28X will all see various schedule changes, plus a new line, 21D, will begin serving the Landmark Mews development as an extension of the 21A route.
