Sean Robertson sends in this view from his office of MPD and D.C. Fire/EMS special ops and hazmat crews staging at the corner of 14th and I Streets NW. Looks like somebody left a big suitcase just sitting there on the corner, which was called in to authorities at about 9:45 a.m. We’ll update once the package has been cleared.

UPDATE: The suitcase has been deemed safe and the incident was cleared as of about 11:45 a.m.
