Paradigm, bleeding edge, synergy, leverage, state of play, all that crap. Business jargon makes the mundane seem important and technical, but you sort of have to use it.

These phrases, though, should be picked up by everybody.

A disgruntled 20-something unloading on her 20-something colleague: “I mean, what am I supposed to tell them? They can’t expect us to be the ones to trouble-solve and problem-shoot for them all the time…”
