The next season of Top Chef completed its filming in Washington, D.C. on Saturday evening, sources tell DCist. Head Judge Tom Colicchio tweeted Sunday morning that he was on the Acela back to New York, and production crew members were spotted partying on U Street Sunday evening to celebrate the wrap.

Reports have placed the cheftestants as having lived in Kalorama, with challenges filmed at venues including the Newseum, the Mellon Auditorium, and Nationals Park. While they were in town, celebrity judges Colichhio, Padma Lakshmi, and Gail Simmons have been spied dining at Vidalia, Proof, Rasika, and Ben’s Chili Bowl.

The season premiere date has not been announced. And while it’s wheels up in terms of filming in D.C., the show is far from over. Finalists will compete for the championship in a different city in the coming months (unconfirmed internet rumors say Montreal).
