Alan Suderman has the juiciest political story of the day with Ward 7 Councilmember Yvette Alexander’s decision to fire her communications director Andre Johnson because, according to Alexander, Johnson lied to her about participating in the Marion Barry reality show, “Mayor For Life.”

Top Chef D.C. Week 11
With the exception of Angelo, who woulda thought at the beginning of the Top Chef season that this group would be our top six? I certainly didn’t.
Rob Lowe — apparently dipping into qualifications he gained during his stint playing a fictional staffer in a fictional Presidential administration in the late 90s and early aughts — is set to produce a “docu-series” titled Potomac Fever, based on “real aspiring ambitious young politicos who are moving up the ranks of power in the Washington.” Have at it, folks….

Woman Sues MTV for Depiction on The Real World D.C.
Golzar Amirmotazedi, who is suing MTV for her depiction on ‘The Real World D.C.’ Part of the fun of pretty much any installment of MTV’s long-running series The Real World is the interaction between the roommates and the locals of whichever city the producers chose for that season. There’s bound to be drinking, making out, fighting and maybe even sex — all of it caught on camera. Everyone knows this by now. But one…

Tom Colicchio Hits Up Ben’s Chili Bowl
The Top Chef host tweeted the photo below less than 30 minutes ago, so he might even still be there if you hurry. “Guess where I am,” Colicchio asked his followers. Can You Identify This Top Chef?
The above image was submitted by DCist reader Megan Griffin. We’ve all heard that the local Top Chef contestants have been doing their shopping at the Silver Spring Whole Foods. During Megan’s recent visit to the store, she noted a sign that said “Magical Elves Productions (Top Chef’s production company) was taping something called ‘The Mission.'” Inside, she spotted a number of lights and TV cameras, and several people in line buying enormous quantities…

The Real World D.C.: The Final Morning After
We’ve been through 14 episodes of house drama, personal crisis and growth, multiple dinners at Buca di Beppo, one visit to the ER, and enough Wicked Liquid to scar a lifetime of memories. And it all happened within a four-block radius of the now infamous Dupont Circle townhouse, spare the stray trip to one or two other spots in our fair city. I couldn’t be happier it’s over. No, really — I’m spent. It’s…
