Kids say the darnedest things. Of course whenever that cliché gets trotted out, it’s usually lame or a double entendre (or both). But this one is extra sweet and amusing.

Overheard of the Week:

Saturday, about 6:30 p.m. at the Urban Outfitters on 7th Street:

A little girl picks up a framed portrait of a cheetah in a suit and tie and asks her mother: “Why are animals Republican?”
