Photo by d’namur. This weekend’s glorious weather means it’ll be another busy couple of days for outdoor activities like graduation ceremonies, races, street festivals and so on. So it should come as no surprise that WMATA will have to detour some bus routes to make way for such springtime festivities.
If you’re taking the bus to your activity of choice, take note — the following detours are in place for various spans tomorrow, May 16:
- Route P6 will detour from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 4th Street, N.W. and S.W., between Constitution and Independence avenues due to George Washington University’s commencement at the National Mall.
- Routes 32, 34, 36, 90, 92, B2, D6, P6 and X8 will detour between 6 a.m. and noon at C Street, N.E., from 4th to 6th streets due to the 31st Annual Capitol Hill Classic 10k and 3k Fun Run.
- Routes 1A, 1F, 2A, 2C, 10B, 23A and 38B will detour between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Va., from N. Randolph Street to Glebe Road due to the 23rd Annual Taste of Arlington.
