MOVIE: It’s family night at the Capitol Riverfront film fest (Canal Park – 200 M St SE), though no kids required to catch Shrek at 8:45 p.m. Free.

TRIVIA: Sixth & I Historic Synagogue presents Trivia Under the Stars at the Capitol Skyline Hotel (10 I St. SW). Advance tickets are no longer available, but can be purchased for $18 at the door. The cost not only gets you in, but also includes dinner and two drinks. 7 p.m.

HAPPY HOUR: Express is hosting a happy hour tonight (and every third Thursday of the month) at The Front Page (Dupont Circle location: 1333 New Hampshire Ave. NW). From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., munch on $3 wings and half-price appetizers (apps deal ends at 7 p.m.), and grab $2 Coors Lights, $3 Blue Moons, and $4 Absolut Vodka and Malibu drinks. There will also be a DJ, dancing, and a $250 gift card giveaway.

ART: Head over to H Street NE tonight to check out the twelve art stops participating in ARTventures on H Street. At each stop you make you’ll get a stamp in your “passport.” The stamps translate to discounts at a eight H Street restaurants, including Sticky Rice, H Street Country Club, and Dangerously Delicious Pies.
