Photo by sarawithoutanh001.Icy treats! Picnic blankets! Rock! DCist’s frantic refreshing of the 2010 Fort Reno website finally paid off! We now know which of our upcoming summer evenings will be filled with friends and music on as the sun sets over the District’s favorite Civil War battlefield. 13 shows are on this year’s docket — one more than last year. Shows begin promptly at 7 p.m. and end promptly at 9:30, and, of course, the standard rules still apply.
Amanda MacKaye told DCist via email that there may be a few minor scheduling alterations due to weather and logistics — but there are “no secret shows or surprise bands to be announced.” As always, Fort Reno is an all-volunteer operation, so donations to keep the good vibrations going are highly encouraged.
