People give WMATA a lot of crap: fare increases, bus drivers punching McGruff, bunching, not showing up on schedule, and more. But the Metro train operators are pretty cool.

Overheard of the Week

On the Red line at Bethesda after work:

Train operator: “Stand clear of the doors. You are the reason this train will be offloaded. Get out of the doors, meathead.”
