Maps can be complicated. Most schools don’t teach geography anymore, nobody knows where things are and everybody is used to GPS and smart phones telling them where to go. Sometimes though, common sense helps.

Overheard of the Week

On the Metro Center platform on Tuesday night:

Female tourist looking at a Metro map while talking to her family: “We need the dark blue line, not the light blue line.”

The light blue line is the water.
