Photo by mofoOur city has a lot of people who ask for money on the street. Sometimes they’re nicely dressed, sometimes not. It’s always tough to know whether the people are truly deserving or not, as there’s always those stories about people who aren’t really sick or truly needy. Then there’s the question of whether they’re going to use the money for food, or spend it on booze or drugs. This guy, however, gets it.
Overheard of the Week
Outside Teaism in Penn Quarter:
Guy to passersby: “Can you spare a meatball bento?”
After the jump, confusing Metro directions, tourists of course, and a pizza-related contest! (No, you won’t win pizza.)
