COMEDY: Lewis Black is guaranteed to raise his voice tonight, but hilariously, at Warner Theater (1299 Pennsylvania Avenue NW). 8 p.m. Tickets are $74.

FOOD & DRINK: Celebrate the tomato and support Seeds to Schools at The Red Fruit Festival at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (Woodrow Wilson Plaza, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW). There will be local chefs and farmers, tomato tastings, wine pairings and more. 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $35.

LECTURE: Learn about Tracking Illegal Wildlife Traffickers from scientist Jennifer Sevin and conservationist Nick Marx during a lecture at the National Zoo’s Visitor Center Auditorium (3001
Connecticut Avenue NW). Following the talk, there will be a cash bar and an opportunity to chat with the speakers. 6:30 p.m. Free, but RSVP requested.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Check out the Second Annual Fashion Photography Showcase at the Carriage House Studio (1327 Naylor Court NW) tonight, to see 30 works from 15 photographers. It’s the studio’s “biggest, most colorful show” yet. 7 p.m.

MUSIC: Even if you didn’t score tickets to the sold-out Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros show at the 9:30 Club, check out the after-party at Donovan House’s ADC rooftop lounge (1155 14th Street NW). 10 p.m.

>> Go-go master Chuck Brown is the final performer in the Live on Woodrow Wilson Plaza (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) concert series. The show starts at 5 p.m. tonight. Free.

MOVIES: If you feel like getting out of town this weekend, check out the Chesapeake Film Festival in Easton, Maryland. Tonight’s opening night selection is The Radiant Child, about Jean-Michel Basquiat, and the rest of the weekend is filled with a variety of films, question and answer sessions, and other events. (E Street Cinema is also showing The Radiant Child tonight, $10). Tickets for the festival in it’s entirety are $150 (includes all films and events) or $75 (just films). There are other prices for just opening or closing night, and most individual films are $10.
