Deerhunter play tonight at 9:30 Club.

TUESDAY

When Deerhunter came to the 9:30 Club in March with Spoon, they previewed many of the songs from the excellent Halcyon Digest. While these songs continue along their trajectory of hazy, dream-like soundscapes with a bite, they also include the first time we’ve heard lead vocals from guitarist Lockett Pundt. They’ll be back at the 9:30 Club with Casio vs. Japan and Ducktails opening. $20, 7:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

Grammy winning hip-hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony will be putting on a special late performance at the 9:30 Club. With their show and a De La Soul appearance (at last night’s Gorillaz show) in the same week, it’s a good week to be a lover of 90s hip-hop in D.C. $25, 10 p.m.
