Prepare, Redskins fans, for an aerial assault unlike any you’ve ever seen. How many times have we written that this season? The next generation of superstar quarterbacks (Tony Romo, Matt Schaub and Aaron Rodgers) have come into FedEx Field, throwing darts all over the field. However, only Schaub has (barely) walked away victorious. This week brings a tougher challenge in Peyton Manning, a man who has no use for a running game or even an offensive coordinator. Manning and the Indianapolis Colts visit the Redskins in a nationally-televised Sunday night matchup that could be a close, relatively low-scoring affair, despite both offenses being able to move the ball at will.

The Redskins are 3-2, much to the delight of their fans, who have to be happy that the team have pulled wins out of some unholy endings. The Colts are also 3-2, but their fanbase can’t be happy about what they’ve seen so far. Indianapolis’ defense made Arian Foster a household name in Week 1, getting run over to the tune of 251 yards and three touchdowns. The Colts always have trouble with Jacksonville, and found a way to let David Garrard and Maurice Jones-Drew sneak away with a last-second win in Week 4. Aside from a Week 2 destruction of the Giants, the Colts have struggled in the first three quarters of games, waiting until the fourth quarter to put away games against Denver and Kansas City.
