So what is it with the individuals who are challenging Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton? Is it the fact that they know they have no chance of winning that leads them to be so off the wall? Or is it just something about the federal nature of the campaign which makes them think they’ll get some attention for their pet causes? Well, whatever it is, it sure seems like the race for non-voting Delegate sure attracts some…interesting people.

First, there was the NSFW anti-abortion advertisements of Missy Reilly Smith. Now, P.J. Orvetti digs up the dirt on Sandra Queen Noble, who is running on the ballot as a candidate from something called the H.E.R.O.S.H.E.R.O. Party. Noble, Orvetti discovers, has run for President five times and for the mayoralty of Cincinnati, Ohio three times. (I guess this means she’s experienced.) Noble plans to finance her campaign with damages from a $994 trillion lawsuit she has filed against the “Stolen United States of America,” among others.
