A fact sheet involving Metro, Craigslist, romance and statistics? Color us intrigued.

Craigslist wanted to find out which Metrorail station could be called the “most romantic.” (Beats me as to why, but let’s just roll with it.) The results: Virginia truly is for lovers — the most romantic station, by far, was Vienna/Fairfax-GMU, while the Virginia-heavy Yellow Line is the most lovey-dovey line. Van Dorn Street, Shady Grove, Dupont Circle and Metro Center rounded out the top five stations for (missed chances at) romancin’.
